The place to find two new children’s books by me, author Jennifer Eggleston.

Everything from Bonka Books comes from a place of deep sincere love, care, respect, and gratitude for family.

So what’s the deal? What’s the story behind the stories? Let me tell you how it came to be.

The idea for my first book came from a very special place...my first grandbaby, who lovingly called me “Bonka.” When it came time to try to publish, I spent three months trying to find a literary agent, but had no luck. Instead of giving up, I decided to create my own publishing company.

I asked my children for publishing company name ideas, and they offered some options: Eggleston Enchanted Books, Eggleston Story Nook, Eggleston Tales, Eggstra Fun Books, and Jen Joys. While these were fun, none felt quite right. While sharing these with my husband later, he simply said, “What about Bonka Books? That’s what you’re called anyway.” It clicked instantly! Of course that was the name! I kept my “Well, duh!” moment quietly to myself and opted for a more professional response, but inside I knew it was perfect.

Bonka Books officially became an LLC on January 29, 2025.
